Alek advocates for individuals and labor unions in all aspects of labor and employment law. He primarily represents workers in healthcare, utilities, tech, and higher education. Alek arbitrates discipline and contract interpretation cases and has experience negotiating collective bargaining agreements. He handles cases before the National Labor Relations Board and other administrative agencies, as well as employment cases in state and federal court. In addition to his work on behalf of unions, Alek counsels tech industry employees in discrimination, retaliation, and employment representation matters.
